Good Grief
An anthology about coping through traumatic grief by women from different parts of the country and outside of the U.S. Some experienced their very own events and some grieved with the loss of their loved ones. It is a great read and brings you in for a close-up on some experiences you may not have given enough support to when you knew someone or did not realize someone in your life needed/needs a better way of receiving support. You even get a chapter on how-to support someone grieving. My contribution to the book proved to be deeply therapeutic because it allowed me to be vulnerable while releasing my feelings that were weighing me down for years. My chapter allowed me to publicly say some things to people I knew would read it that I wasn’t able to speak to directly, so my feelings were known and acknowledged. I believe there was relatable stories all throughout.
